Every record in SecurePay carries a source. Mock is demonstration content, sandbox is a test environment, and live is real activity.
Why it matters
Confusing a test record with a real one leads people to expect money that was never real.
How it works
- 1Mock records exist to demonstrate the product and are labelled as such.
- 2Sandbox records behave like real ones but move no money.
- 3Live records are produced by real activity under production access.

A developer building for a Kenyan hardware chain tests a full delivery flow in sandbox, including a failed settlement, before requesting production access.
Common misunderstanding
A sandbox page is treated as a live payment page.
