Agreement Review

When participants need a closer look

An Agreement Review helps examine a recorded question using the agreement, relevant evidence and participant responses.

What a review may involve

  • Identifying the questioned responsibility
  • Preserving the affected amount where required
  • Requesting evidence
  • Allowing participant responses
  • Examining the exact agreement version
  • Recording the outcome
  • Explaining the resulting effect

What a review does not mean

  • It does not automatically prove wrongdoing
  • It does not make one participant guilty
  • It does not necessarily stop every other responsibility
  • It does not guarantee one participant's preferred outcome

Neutral review stages

  1. 1

    Question raised

A permitted participant has recorded a question about a specific responsibility.

It does not mean wrongdoing has been established.

  2. 2

    Evidence requested

Participants have been asked to provide records relevant to the question.

A request for evidence is not an accusation.

  3. 3

    Under examination

The agreement version, the evidence and the responses are being examined together.

It does not necessarily stop every other responsibility in the plan.

  4. 4

    Outcome recorded

A result has been recorded, together with the reason and its effect.

It does not guarantee one participant's preferred outcome.

  5. 5

    Additional action required

A participant must do something before the matter can close.

    It is not a penalty.

  6. 6

    Closed

The recorded question has been concluded and the record remains available.

Closing does not delete the history of the question.

The Review Reserve

The Review Reserve supports responsible access to the review process. It does not purchase a favourable outcome and is not a punishment.

It is recorded separately, and is never combined with activation, subscription, platform fees, settlement verification or agreement money.

About the examples on this page

Every example, record and status here is demonstration content and is labelled mock. Sandbox records behave realistically but move no money. Live records come from real activity. These pages are not live customer cases.
