Joining versus accepting
Joining means you have arrived. Accepting means you have agreed to a specific version of the agreement.
Why it matters
An agreement does not progress on the strength of someone opening a link. Progress depends on recorded acceptance.
How it works
- 1You receive an invitation and join with your KSNumber.
- 2You read the exact version and the role you have been given.
- 3You accept, request a change or decline. Only acceptance is recorded as agreement.
A practical example
A supplier opens an invitation on their phone at the yard, joins, and then forgets to accept. The buyer sees 'joined — has not accepted' and knows exactly what is missing.
Common misunderstanding
A joined participant is assumed to have agreed.
What to check before acting
- Check whether your name shows joined or accepted.
- If a version changed after you accepted, read the new one.
